On Saturday, 18 April 2026, our Britton Housemovers yard at Haywards Hill, Wellington, experienced significant flooding.

This incident has affected only one part of our organisation. One of the strengths of Britton Housemovers is our three-branch structure, which provides resilience and contingency in situations like this. We are actively utilising these contingency options to ensure continuity of service.



Our team is currently assessing the impact at the Haywards Hill yard and carrying out cleanup and restoration work. While there may be some temporary, localised disruption, we would like to reassure our clients and partners that Brittons remains fully operational, with projects continuing to move forward.
